Beata Zatorska was raised (and taught to cook) by her grandmother Jozefa in a remote village in rural Poland. She left for Australia aged 19, never to see her beloved Jozefa again. 20 years later she returns and re-discovers Jozefa's hand written recipes. Beata explores Poland in summer with photographer husband Simon Target. The result is this book - a reverie of recipes and childhood memories to touch the heart of any Australian born overseas.
